I am an addict myself, in recovery, sort of, for the Methadone that I was put on SIX years ago… Some treatment, huh? I live in the US, in Columbus, Ohio. Dull, loads of drugs though. Goodness me, when I hear Amy W’s voice, I get chills. I have not heard a voice so soulful & true since I grew up listening to the likes of the Shirelles, the Ronnettes. I will be heart broken though if this gorgeous lady passes, truly devastated. It has been quite the while since someone has spoken to my soul the way she does… I would love to have A drink with you Amy. Just one, really…
Amy is so beautiful, it is so very sad what happened. It will clear up, but before that, I pray that her soul cleans up first…then the skin will follow. Hang in there Amy. YOU are far too talented and beautiful to lose yourself.
Amy knows what she’s doing. She could afford to have an army of people doing her shopping and running her errands. She wants to stay on these sites and in the tabloids because it’s great press - it keeps her on people’s minds (people like us), doesn’t cost her a dime and contributes to the local economy. It’s a great strategy. If she was hangin’ with the Dali Lama or baking cookies for Blakie who’d notice?
There are many things that can cause skin eruptions. Stress alone can cause facial outbreaks of many different types. She does however NEED help. Addiction is a progressive disease, and if not arrested, is terminal. I pray that the powers that be in her life step in and do what is necessary to save her life. Strong measures are needed here. Much like in the case of Brittany Spears. It is obvious the psychological is now impacting the physiological. Amy is very sick and her family and /or management must act soon. She is killing herself. It’s a slow form of suicide. So many people love her work, it would be a shame to lose her prematurely.
I have fallen in love with Amy’s soulful and talented voice and writing. As others say, I’ve not been taken in by such lyrics and vocals for many, many years. I, too am concerned for her health no matter from where the problem lies. This magical songstress has touched many of us and no one wants to see her in more pain or the ultimate..Be well and the Surviver I believe you are, girl. You are the best thing to happen to the music industry in a long…….long time.
RR and Bewitched by you, Amy. Continue to astound us with musical art.

It’s very sad. She’s so talented. She’s an adult and has to want to help herself or nothing can be done.

All we can do is watch the destruction of one of the most talented women alive, and it sickens me.
