John McCain’s campaign hit back at Madonna on Sunday after the pop diva kicked off her world tour with a concert that bracketed the US presidential candidate with Adolf Hitler.
McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds angrily condemned the segment of Madonna’s concert in Cardiff on Saturday that appeared to draw a comparison between McCain, Hitler and Zimbabwean strongman Robert Mugabe.
"The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time," Bounds said in a statement reported by Fox News. "It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits."
Madonna’s apparent swipe at McCain came during a performance of the song "Get Stupid", when the Republican contender’s image was flashed up alongside images of destruction and global warming as well as Hitler and Mugabe. Towards the end of the song, pictures of Beatles star John Lennon, former US vice-president Al Gore, Indian Mahatma Gandhi and McCain’s Democrat rival Barack Obama appeared. Source

I am so tired of her attempts to put politics in her show.I am a big fan of hers but she is really pissing me off lately.I think she is totally out of line and out of touch with reality.

Madonna trying desperately to be the most shocking senior citizen on the planet. She used to be genuinely shocking and controversial, but then it was “OMG kaballah”, then the girls gone wild-esque make out with Britney Spears (*YAWN*) and now she’s desperate enough to bring current politics and standard internet-boilerplate Hitler comparisons. What’s next, a LOLcat stage show? She tries so hard to stay relevant and controversial, despite the fact that many of us stopped caring long ago.
Jody- believe what you want politically, but your comments about Obama were uncalled for.

She’s boring the ass of 99% of her audience by preaching politics; it’s way over the heads of those that are there to hear her “music”. She makes me cringe when she tries to squeeze into clothes that teenagers would flinch at; it’s akin to watching your mad grandma dance at a family party. Grow up you stupid old crow, then take your vitamins and have an early night FFS!
