In the ever unfolding drama that is surrounding Lindsay Lohan’s necklace caper, we’ve learned that the rehabbed actress is claiming that she has witnesses on her side to prove that she didn’t thieve that necklace. Even though she was seen wearing it!
As she battles an imminent arrest for felony larceny, Lindsay says that she has friends who were there with her and will back up her story. A source close to Lindsay said, “There were two witnesses with Lindsay in the store who are going to tell her side of the story.”
Reportedly, she had her assistant, Eleanor along with her friend Patrick who will say that Lindsay didn’t make off with the jewelry. One snitch said that Lindsay got the necklace from the store, but she didn’t take it. They claim that the store allowed Lindsay to take the necklace in hopes that it would get them some publicity. When it didn’t, that’s when they started this theft drama.
They claim that the store owner was upset when they didn’t get any press for Lindsay wearing the necklace. She is counting on these source’s testimony to keep her out of jail.
The spy added, “She didn’t steal the necklace and her eyewitnesses will tell the truth.”
