This does not even make sense! It is being reported that the Lindsay Lohan jewelry store surveillance tape was sold by the jewelry store to Entertainment tonight. I don’t understand how this could be possible? Isn’t the tape part of the case? Lindsay is accused of stealing a necklace valued at $2,500 from Kamofie & Co., a jeweler located near her new home in L.A.’s Venice Beach district.
This development could definitely complicate the case against Lindsay, and they have learnt that it is causing turmoil in both the prosecution and defense camps. “Neither side wanted it released,” a well-placed source tells us. “Neither side sanctioned this sale.”
Entertainment tonight is planning to air the video on Monday night. As far as I can see this is a stupid move by the store they lose all credibility – clearly they are trying profit from the situation. The case really hinges on what is in that tape. It calls into question the veracity of their claim. Just saying….. What do you think?
