Here are the first photos of Prince William and his new wife Kate (Catherine) Middleton kissing as husband and wife on the balcony of Buckingham Palace before thousands of well-wishers. Breaking tradition when the crowd chanted another kiss Prince William gave Kate another kiss much to the pleasure of the onlookers.
The second kiss was less of a peck and more of a lingering kiss.
Surrounded by their wedding party plus their family — Queen Elizabeth, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince Harry plus Kates’s sister Pippa and parents Michael and Carole — the newlywed royals smiled and waved to fans.
There will be two receptions in Buckingham Palace. The first one will be hosted by the Queen.
