The newest royal couple – yes, we mean Kate Middleton and Prince William, heir to the British Throne – are arriving in Canada June 30.
Polls show that while Canadians are very much looking forward to the royal visit the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has her sights set on Hollywood. From July 8-10, the royal couple will be doing a 3 day tour of Southern California – and when Kate was asked which celeb she would most like to see when in Hollywood she came right out with her first choice – Angelina Jolie!
Bad luck for Kate though as Angelina has a scheduling conflict and can not see the duchess during her visit. But good old Angelina was quickly on the phone with Kate making plans to meet with her in London later this year.
Since this is Kate’s first official overseas engagement as a member of the royal family, the royal entourage is being kept down to an absolute minimum so as not to overwhelm the duchess – imagine the strain for Kate and William having to make do with only 7 staff members during this trip – one of which is Kate’s hairdresser James Pryce. I tell you, being a member of the royal family is a tough job, but luckily Kate has shown her pluck and stepped up to accept the job.
