Pippa Middleton really knows how to keep the world guessing about her love life. According to Intouch Magazine, the 27-year-old royal-in-law reportedly has a “close” friendship with a married, British venture capitalist named Ben Goldsmith, and the nature of their relationship seems to be more romantic than friendly.
“Pippa’s increasingly flirtatious relationship with Ben is why [Alex Loudon] must have broken off his engagement with Pippa…Pippa and Ben are regularly calling, texting, having dinners together,” said an insider to the magazine.
Despite having three kids and a supposedly troubled marriage, Ben has reportedly been growing close to Pippa, and their relationship has caused some eyebrows to be raised, including the dainty ones of her sister Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
“Kate is urging Pippa to stay away and says this has disaster written all over it,” added the source.
However, it seems like Pippa may have taken her older sister’s advice because she was spotted last weekend, having a romantic dinner, not with Ben, but with her ex-boyfriend JJ Jardine-Paterson, a 29-year-old banking heir.
“Pippa looked really happy and relaxed in a striking orange blouse. It is clear they have history. They seemed keen to keep themselves to themselves,” said a snitch to the Sun.
Reportedly, the couple took off the next day for a wedding in the countryside, where Pippa wore a particularly silly hat. So, could Pippa and JJ be rekindling their romance, or is the party planner simply enjoying being a single girl in London?
“They’ve remained good friends and now she’s single again we wouldn’t rule it out. JJ ticks all the right boxes – he’s good-looking, sporty, and is from a wealthy family.“
And JJ doesn’t seem like he would cause a scandal for the royal family, which probably means he has Kate and the royal family’s vote too.
