Justin Bieber is a young man who has travelled the world but he insists that when he has children that they grow up in Canada.
Justin says he wants home to raise his own family when he gets a bit older – he is still only 17 – and although he loves Los Angeles he wants to raise his family back home in Canada.
Born in London, Ontario, and growing up in Stratford, Ontario gave Justin a distinctly Canadian perspective which he wants his children to share.
He said: “I think it would be cool to get a condo out here (Los Angeles), but eventually I’ll probably want to move back to Canada and raise my family. Why? I dunno, I’m Canadian, I feel like I want my kids to be Canadian.”
Justin is currently in a relationship with ‘Monte Carlo’ star Selena Gomez, believes being Canadian is better than being a US citizen because it means foreigners are nicer to you.
He told TMZ: “If you travel round the world and put a Canadian sticker on your bag, they’ll be nicer.” Despite being the biggest star in the world today, Justin has previously admitted he sometimes craves a normal life and would like to go back to Stratford and be with his mother Pattie.
He said: “Now that I’m here, I sometimes wish I could just go back home and chill. But if I was at home and I wasn’t doing this, I’d wish that I was in this position.”
So young Justin seems to have happened upon an important aphorism: ‘the grass is always greener.’
