Kate Middleton is not Jewish herself but the future Queen of England certainly showed a friendly attitude to a rather small publication, The Jewish News. Wearing a stunning emerald green dress from Mulberry, Duchess Catherine took time out from a reception at Buckingham Palace to speak with a reporter for the paper.
“I would like to thank all your readers for all their wonderful support this year,” Kate told the paper. “It’s amazing to think the wedding was just seven months ago. So much has happened since then.” Of course everyone is just dying to know when Kate might be expecting her first child with Prince William. On this topic, lovely Kate remained silent
The Jewish News reminded Kate about a commemorative poster they published the day before her historic April 29 Royal Wedding at Westminster Abbey which had the tradition Jewish “Mazeltov!” wish of congratulations and good luck. Kate was appreciative of the gesture and said, “That sounds like it was a wonderful idea. I hope all your readers put the poster up!”
All the action took place after Kate was crowded by well wishers and adoring subjects at Buckingham Palace where she and Prince William attended the reception in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee.
