Montel Williams Now Sells Weed

In case you and your friends need to get your buzz on, you can always call on former talk show host Montel Williams for your hookup.

In the late nineties, Montel was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and has credited marijuana with helping him with his neurological pain. Now, Montel has taken a job as a consultant with an upscale marijuana dispensary called Albatin Wellness Cooperative.

He wants to make it a weed store that caters to patients and doesn’t have that shady head shop look to it. In a recent press conference, Montell said, “We want to provide safe access for patients and really medicalize this. Patients should be put first.”

Montel went on to reveal that he will be “involved at every level of the cooperative, from the philosophical direction down to the blueprints. I want this to be someplace your mother and father could see themselves walk into.”

We really do need change in the medical marijuana laws in this country. People shouldn’t be condemned to a jail sentence for something so small as having it on them. It’s not that serious, people. Let’s just decriminalize it nationwide already. Not that I want to run out and toke up tomorrow, but I don’t care if other people want to do that. It’s really none of our business, is it?
