Reese Witherspoon was injured and hospitalized on September 7th after being hit by a car. The actress was going for a jog when she was struck by an 84-year-old woman. The woman was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian and was ordered to re-take her driver’s test, along with submitting to an eye exam.
Reese was said to be resting comfortably after she left the hospital. Her rep also issued a statement saying that she would not be pressing charges against the elderly woman who hit her.
We were just relieved that Reese is okay.
According to this new report from the National Enquirer, Reese had to get brain surgery! Wow, what?!?
This is brand new information! They’ve got photos of her with bandages on her head, so it is possible that her injuries were far worse then they let on in the media.
Poor Reese, let’s hope that she doesn’t have any lasting injuries as a result of this accident.
