Are you dying to see the Vera Wang dress that Kim Kardashian has chosen for her wedding day on August 20th? How about how dapper her fiancee, Kris Humphries, is going to look at the event? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then congratulations, you have absolutely no life whatsoever. Even still, People magazine has your back.
The magazine has done a deal with the reality star (or her mother, Kris) to famewhore out her wedding photos. She’s getting paid A LOT of money, too. Reportedly, People is paying Kim $500,000 for the photos of her special day! Wow, that is entirely too much money for some wedding shots.
Earlier this summer, we’d heard reports that People was willing to shell out a million bucks for the photos. But apparently, that’s not the case….it’s only half of that. *Only*. Like I have a half million dollars just laying around. Well, if I did, I certainly would not use it to purchase Kim Kardashian’s wedding pictures, that’s for sure!
A snitch said, “She has a great relationship with the magazine, she and her sisters have done their other life milestones with the magazines, and it’s the most credible and legitimate of all the weeklies. Plus, People has the money to spend on these photos. Not to mention it has millions more readers that the other celeb weeklies. It’s not at all a surprise it’ll be People’s cover.”
