Michael Clarke Duncan, the 54-year-old actor best known for his roles in Green Mile and Planet of the Apes, is recovering at an intensive care unit at a Los Angeles hospital, after suffering from cardiac arrest, reports TMZ.
Reportedly, Michael’s girlfriend, Omarosa Stallworth (remember her as the villain from from The Apprentice?) found him in the middle of a heart attack around 2am and was able to perform life-saving CPR that saved his life.
There’s no word on what caused Michael’s heart to stop, but his family and friends are no doubt thankful that he’s in stable condition. And Omarosa is probably grateful that she had the CPR training needed to help resuscitate him. She reportedly is by his side as he recuperates at the hospital. The couple has reportedly been dating since 2010, after they met each other in the produce section of a Whole Foods grocery store.
