What does Rihanna, Chris Brown, Kate Major, Michael Lohan, Pamela Lee Anderson, and Tommy Lee have in common? They all loved the people they fought with and, in most cases, returned right back to them. Is RiRi loving Chris Brown so different than Kate Major and Michael Lohan? Right after Kate claimed Michael attacked her, she came up pregnant by Michael and got right back with him. Remember the fight between Kid Rock and Tommy Lee over Pamela Anderson at the VMAs. Do you think Chris and Drake took a page out of their book? And who could forget Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton’s tumultuous relationship. Elizabeth was asked after Richard passed if she would marry him again, and her response was “in a heartbeat.” Therefore, before you throw RiRi under the bus, maybe consider that she, like these ladies, is trying to figure it all out.
All these relationships have the same thing in common: they fought, argued, and made headlines, but they also loved the person they fought with, and more often than not went back to them. Of course, the ideal in these situations is that the women run for the hills when they get out of these abusive relationships. However, more often than not, they run back to the person that has caused the pain.
Why do some women do this? Is there something in their DNA that makes certain women more prone to run back into the arms of men that has caused them pain? That answer we may never know. Rihanna has to decide what is best for her. If she wants to see where the relationship with Chris takes her, that is her personal choice. Share your thoughts on Rihanna’s love for Chris. Do you think it is just young love and it will past?
