When Malibu Nanny Pam Behan looks back on her five years with the Kardashian sisters, it’s pretty clear that she loved her time caring for these girls and she has still got a pretty good handle on who they really are, behind all of the glitz and glamor. She insists that the personalities that we see onscreen now echo what she saw with her own eyes while practically mothering Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.
Pam also wishes the press would quit ragging on Kim for all of the pregnancy weight she has gained. I totally agree that you generally don’t pick at a pregnant woman for her changing body, but perhaps Kim could take a closer look in the mirror at the clothes she is insisting on pouring herself into. If she dressed the part a little more I bet no one would really comment on her size.
As far as mothering goes, Pam told Celeb Dirty Laundry in an exclusive interview that she believes Kourtney Kardashian really has transformed into a fabulous mother – and hopefully Kim will follow her lead!
“Kourtney has always been very direct, even as a child. I also admire how now she’s not in the limelight as much as Kim and Khloe and I think that’s by choice. I think Kourtney is the least interested in fame. I really think that she is the loving, doting mother that we see and I believe that she does put those kids first and I admire that. I hope and pray that Kim does the same. I pray that time with her child is going to be a priority. Kourtney has been a great role model and I think that she won’t hesitate to tell Kim if she thinks that she’s not giving her child the necessary time. If she does feel like she needs to speak her mind it would be out of love.”
I really agree that Kourtney seems to have embraced motherhood 100% and everything else is a distant second. Kim would be wise to listen to her older sister’s advice now because, clearly, Kourt gets what’s really important.
Do you think that Kim can look past her chronic self-absorption to learn to follow Kourtney’s lead and really put her child first? I’m not so sure and to be honest, Pam sounded hopeful, but not exactly convinced that this transformation will happen. Let’s hope that it does because otherwise Kim’s baby will be raised only by nannies and her absentee mothering might actually make Kris Jenner look like mom of the year!
