General Hospital spoilers tease some crazy drama headed to Port Charles, but with so much going on we can’t forget that the Quartermaine’s housekeeper Alice is clinging to life at the hospital and waiting for a heart transplant. So far the Quartermaine Family hasn’t had any luck finding Alice a new heart. At first they planned to give her a transplant with Rafe’s heart, however it was revealed that Rafe had been using heroin, so the hospital wouldn’t permit the transplant. Once Julian shot Mickey Diamond, fans were sure that Alice would score his heart, but then we learned that he wasn’t an organ donor and he had no family in Port Charles to sign off on the transplant.
Just when Alice’s hunt for a heart was beginning to look dismal, new General Hospital spoilers tease that there is still hope for her. According to GH spoilers in the latest edition of ABC Soaps In Depth, “Ray Donovan actress Mary Mara arrives in town this week as Mickey’s sister Selma – and there’s a surprising twist to the character’s concern for her sibling.” So, if Selma is in town, then she can give the hospital permission to transplant Mickey’s heart in to Alice!
However, the spoiler also teases that there is a “surprising twist” regarding Selma’s arrival. So, maybe she isn’t willing to sign over Mickey’s heart? Or, maybe she has some news about Mickey’s boss and the identity of Fake Luke. Regardless, Selma’s arrival sounds like it could have a huge effect on several Port Charles residents’ lives.
