According to a new report from the National Enquirer, O.J. Simpson is ‘depressed‘ in prison. Well, of course he’s depressed in prison. It’s prison – it’s not supposed to be exciting. However, the Enquirer’s source claims that O.J. is so depressed that he’s thinking of ending his own life via a hunger strike.
The source explains, “OJ is dropping weight fast, and it’s scaring the hell out of his few remaining friends. He just won’t eat, and you can tell by his voice that he just wants to die. That’s exactly what is going to happen to him unless some good news drops out of the sky to cheer him up and give him a reason to live; however, that doesn’t seem likely.”
Well, good news doesn’t drop out of the sky for convicted felons. Again, that’s kind of the point of prisons – to give the inmates what they deserve. Even if OJ thinks he deserves better, most of the country doesn’t agree with him.
The Enquirer also quotes a supposed friend of OJ’s, who claims that OJ has his heart set on killing himself through a hunger strike. Apparently, OJ knows that they’ll never let him out of prison, and that parole is very unlikely at this point. Thus, since he’s so used to ‘living his way‘, he also wants to ‘die his way’. Plus, if he goes through with his hunger strike and he ends up dying, his four children will inherit his pension. That pension’s managed to accumulate through OJ’s years in prison, without anyone being able to touch it.
Plus, if he really is dying of brain cancer, then he’ll end up going one way or another – and a hunger strike is lot less painful than death by brain cancer.
