So Selena Gomez went to the Ischia Global Film & Music Fest 2014 in Italy, wearing one of the ugliest things I’ve ever seen. What is up with Selena and her minders? Who is looking after this little lost soul? Is it too late to for her to beg her parents to come back and manage her currently random and self-destructive existence – one that seems to have as it’s gyroscope the incredibly selfish, disloyal, and drug-abusing twerp, Justin Bieber. We won’t bring up her controversial and possibly misunderstood recent Tweet on international affairs, one that at least assures us that Selena Gomez will not one day run for Congress. Unless it’s on a TV Show of course.
Okay back to clothing… first off, it looks like an oversized dressing gown that you’re supposed to sleep in, or lounge around in the house. Not go out in public like that.
Second, the print is ugly, for a gown. Especially since it’s so sheer. I guess there is bonus points for Selena being well ventilated, but other than that? It also evokes the feeling like she’s wandering around in an oversized shirt–because of the print. Which would be good, if the print was pretty.
Third–just saw it from the back. Why do designers think sheer gowns with granny panties/girdle underwear looks good on anyone? If I was a celeb, you would not be able to pay me anything to expose ugly underwear like that. If you’re gonna show something, show something.
Fourth–polka dots with PATCHES. Are we all in kindergarten?
This is an overall fail for me. I think that Selena styled it perfectly–she is wearing a few rings on her fingers, some hoop earrings, and a pair of nice black heels–but the dress is ugly. It stands out on its own (in a bad way).
