Is Tamra Barney fired from The Real Housewives of Orange County after the reunion show part 2, (read our detailed recap, click here) and is Bravo recasting Tamra’s role? Isn’t that the question of the day! We have been reporting for weeks now that Bravo wanted to fire the self-obsessed diva because of how poorly she resonates with fans, and no matter who they cast to co-star with her, they can’t get along. Tamra took to Facebook to call CDL out a few weeks ago, and insisted that she was not fired. But, on September 2nd, multiple major websites announced that Tamra has officially been fired from Real Housewives of Orange County. So far, Tamra and Bravo have not confirmed or denied the reports.
Over the years, Tamra Barney has begun to think that she is invincible and has referred to herself as the “most talked about housewife” and implied, on more than one occasion, that without her, Real Housewives of Orange County would be a flop. Tamra was so sure that she was irreplaceable that she even slammed the producers on Facebook and claimed that they were staging scenes and manipulating her co-stars. Tamra’s complete disrespect for producers and her co-stars has been building up for seasons now, and has finally taken a toll.
It’s no secret that Bravo hasn’t been happy with Tamra for a while, so she has been trying desperately to create personal storylines that would catch viewer’s attention and hopefully secure her role on the cast. She has been milking the “I want another baby” storyline for months now, which is hilarious since she is almost 50 years old and Eddie Judge is certainly not interested. In fact wasn’t Tamra trying to capture viewer attention with her bogus divorce storyline?
Tamra also dragged her son’s unborn baby into the series, and has been pushing the “I’m becoming a Grandma” storyline for a while now as well. The bottom line is, Tamra sees the writing on the walls and she knew her days were numbered, so she was trying anything and everything, including fake divorce rumors, to spice up her Real Housewives of Orange County scenes. But, it looks like her desperate attempts were unsuccessful, because even Radar Online says she has been fired by Bravo and they are currently recasting.
Are you a fan of Tamra’s or are you glad that Bravo has/will fire her? Do you think that Real Housewives of Orange County will be successful without her? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
