“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that a huge reveal is about to go down on Y&R Friday, October 2. Gabriel Bingham (Justin Hartley) will soon be exposed as Adam Newman! It’s a long-awaited moment that Y&R viewers won’t want to miss. Adam has had plenty of close calls over the last few months. However, it seems the Paragon Project will ultimately be what leads to Adam’s downfall. Adam took a major risk by bringing Ian (Ray Wise) into his scheme and he’ll end up paying the price.
Summer (Hunter King) will see Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) talking to her new pal, “Fred” (Ray Wise) and recognize him as the notorious Ian Ward on Monday, September 28. From there, we’ll see a chain reaction that causes Adam’s plan to quickly fall apart. Once Phyllis knows Ian is out of prison, she’ll undoubtedly pass the news on to Jack (Peter Bergman). Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Jack will then put two and two together to figure out that Ian might be the mastermind of the Paragon Project.
Of course, Ian is a key player in this threat, but we all know Adam is the brains of the operation. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will start thinking about the night of Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) memorial and realize Adam may have lied about where he was during the brief blackout. After Chelsea learns that Ian has been living right across the hall, she’ll fly into a rage. How could Adam let a ruthless criminal like Ian get so close to Connor (Michael and Nolan Webb)?
Chelsea will furious that Adam has duped her once again. Unfortunately, this time “baby, I’m sorry” may not do the trick. Chelsea loves Adam, but enough is enough. Adam needs to make things right. The latest “Young and the Restless” promo shows Chelsea declaring that she has something to share about Adam. Phyllis will be stunned by Chelsea’s revelation. Later, Adam will have a deep conversation with Billy (Burgess Jenkins) and admit he made a big mistake. It’s clear that Billy won’t be interested in Adam’s apology. Billy will lash out in anger by overturning the table.
Adam’s reveal will continue to make waves for months to come. There’s so much storyline potential as word spreads of Gabe’s true identity. Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) are about to get their socks knocked off. Plus, this is sure to cause extreme consequences for Sage (Kelly Sullivan).
