“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Friday, January 15, tease that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will mull over a big decision. Rafe (Galen Gering) feels like Hope is in the clear when it comes to Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) murder.
However, they still have a problem. Rafe has been trying to prove that Stefano was behind Dr. Malcolm’s (Adam Leadbeater) death. They may have to switch tactics now that Stefano is out of the picture.
DOOL spoilers indicate that Hope will consider making a confession. Perhaps Hope could claim she killed Dr. Malcolm in self-defense and bring up Ciara’s (Vivian Jovanni) kidnapping as a factor. If the police start digging into Stefano’s business, the trail might lead to Hope. Maybe Rafe will want to divert attention from Stefano so it won’t look like Hope had a major motive to kill him.
In other words, confessing to Dr. Malcolm’s murder is the lesser of two evils. Hope claims she didn’t shoot Dr. Malcolm, but she may have to say she did anyway. Admitting she killed someone in self-defense would be a lot better than admitting she killed someone in cold blood.
“Days of Our Lives” spoilers show that Hope will indeed make some form of a confession next week. Of course just because Hope confesses (falsely) to killing Dr. M in self-defense doesn’t mean she won’t get nailed for the Stefano murder down the line and wind up with 2 murder charges!
Across town, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will find herself in great pain as a result of the New Year’s Eve car crash. Jen managed to come out of the wreck with only minor injuries, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t suffering. Jennifer will have difficulty hiding the fact that she’s in agony.
There’s been some “Days” buzz floating around that suggests Jennifer might get addicted to painkillers. It’s a little early to jump to conclusions, but it might give Jen a good storyline. It seems we’ll just have to wait and see how Jennifer chooses to handle her struggles.
Elsewhere, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will give Ava (Tamara Braun) an earful. Now that Ava has delivered the news about Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) son, Kayla may get updates on this iffy information.
Even if she doesn’t hear about the baby drama, Kayla will undoubtedly tell Ava to get lost. Steve and Kayla gave Ava the verbal forgiveness she was looking for. In Kayla’s opinion, that means it’s time to go.
DOOL spoilers reveal that Kayla and Ava will have an intense faceoff. Of course, Ava doesn’t intend on going anywhere until she gets what she really came for. Ava’s mission isn’t about making amends; it’s about getting even.
