In fact, there’s a good chance that Gavin Rossdale and Elin Nordegren’s romance has blindsided Gwen Stefani, as she didn’t expect her ex-husband to date one of the world’s most eligible women.
As many will recall, Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren’s marriage ended when the Swedish model discovered texts sent to the golfing champion from one of his mistresses. A nasty Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren divorce soon followed, with the blonde beauty walking away with most of her husband’s fortune. And how Elin Nordegren is dating another alleged cheater in the celebrity world – Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
The former ‘Bush’ frontman has been accused of cheating on his wife with their family nanny. Just like Elin Nordegren, Gwen Stefani supposedly found explicit texts from her children’s nanny Mindy Mann on the iPad she shared with Gavin Rossdale at the time.
Yet, that hasn’t deterred Elin Nordegren from pursuing her Gavin Rossdale romance. Apparently, the new celebrity couple were set up by mutual friends and are now casually dating. One source close to Gavin Rossdale and Elin Nordegren dished to Us Weekly, “Elin flies to Los Angeles on her private plane a lot. They want to make it work.”
If there’s one thing that Gavin Rossdale and Elin Nordegren have in common, it’s that they’ve both managed to keep their dirty divorces under wraps. Unlike Gwen Stefani and her new boyfriend Blake Shelton, Gavin Rossdale prefers to keep a low profile while Elin Nordegren avoids the celebrity spotlight at all costs. Still, many critics can’t help but wonder why Elin Nordegren would pursue a man like Gavin Rossdale, especially with his reputation as a cheater.
Surely, Elin Nordegren doesn’t want to repeat the same mistakes she made with Tiger Woods during their marriage, yet her Gavin Rossdale romance isn’t much of an upgrade for her. It’s no wonder that Gwen Stefani and most celebrity observers have been blindsided by the Elin Nordegren and Gavin Rossdale dating news.
