“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, January 19, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will open up to Devon (Bryton James) about her relationship woes. Abby will remember Stitch (Sean Carrigan) saying she knows nothing about love.
She’ll indicate that Max’s (Jared Breeze) arrival has also created some problems. Devon will bring up his issues with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Abby will offer reassurance.
At Newman Enterprises, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will try to find out if Victor (Eric Braeden) knows anything about Adam’s (Justin Hartley) disappearance. Victor won’t provide any details, but he’ll insist that everything will get sorted out soon. Meanwhile, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) will want to confront Victor, but Noah (Robert Adamson) won’t think that’s a good idea.
When Kevin (Greg Rikaart) appears, they’ll ask him to view the surveillance footage. Kevin won’t be able to do it. Noah will believe Luca should turn to his father for info instead. Later, Luca and Noah will agree that they need to convince Victor to let Marisa (Sofia Pernas) go.
In Victor’s office, Kevin will suggest that maybe the Santoris aren’t behind the ransom note. Victor will tell Kevin to trace it so they can learn more. They’ll also send an email to verify that Adam has actually been captured. A picture of a tied-up Adam will come through. Elsewhere, Marisa will wake up strapped to a bed. She’ll freak out and scream for help.
At Crimson Lights, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will be discussing Adam when Nick arrives. He won’t have any real news. Chelsea will rush off to try another tactic. Sage will see Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) and she’ll yell at her to butt out of their lives. Nick will be surprised by Sage’s outburst, but she’ll insist that Dr. Anderson is up to no good.
A short time later, Dr. Anderson will come back to Crimson Lights to chat with Nick alone. She’ll point out that she was only trying to help. Nick will think it’s suspicious that Dr. Anderson showed back up when she knew Sage wouldn’t be around. Nick will believe there might be some truth to Sage’s claims. Dr. Anderson obviously has an agenda.
At the hospital, Sage will take matters into her own hands. She’ll ask to see information on Dr. Anderson’s background along with proof of her credentials. Across town, Sharon (Sharon Case) won’t be pleased by Dylan’s (Steve Burton) updates on his detective status. Dylan will try to put her mind at ease, but Sharon will be adamant that this will only lead to trouble.
Chelsea will pop in and ask for help with the Adam situation. Sharon will flip and insist that Dylan can’t confront Victor. Once Dylan leaves, Sharon will rip into Chelsea for being selfish. Chelsea will think Sharon’s beef isn’t with her. It sounds like it’s with Dylan. Sharon will finally settle down and they’ll talk about their struggle to change the men in their lives.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will urge Natalie (Mara McCaffray) to stay put and fix the program. Kevin will arrive at the suite and they’ll all agree that Natalie is the girl mentioned in the ransom note. Mariah will feel like they have to clear up this mess. Marisa’s life hangs in the balance.
Kevin will get a call from Dylan and he’ll head to the police station. Suddenly, Natalie and Mariah will hear a noise. While Mariah is checking things out, Natalie will give her the slip. At the police station, Kevin will fill Dylan in on the program and the confusion about “the girl.” Mariah will show up and announce that Natalie ran off.
Back at Newman Enterprises, Natalie will arrive and indicate that Victor has the wrong girl. It seems Victor will have to make a change of plans. Will they get all of this figured out before Adam and Marisa end up in more danger? Y&R viewers will be anxious to see the action ahead. Stick with the CBS soap to watch Victor make his next move.
