“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for the Friday episode, February 26, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Jack’s (Peter Bergman) relationship turmoil will continue on Y&R. Things have become increasingly strained for this couple lately.
Jack made a big mistake by revealing the truth about Marco (Peter Bergman) to Neil (Kristoff St. John). Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) overheard the news and the secret is bound to spread.
“Red” has been raging thanks to Jack’s debacle and she’s clearly not ready to forgive. In fact, this could be the beginning of the end for Jack and Phyllis. Friday’s Y&R preview video shows Jack giving Phyllis a bouquet of flowers as a peace offering.
He’ll be sorry for causing Phyllis any additional pain. Unfortunately, Phyllis will coldly declare that it’s not enough. She’ll promptly dump the flowers in the garbage.
Phyllis may decide to trash her marriage, too. A separation could be coming. “The Young and the Restless” buzz suggests that the whole world may get updates on Marco at some point. That might be the last straw for Phyllis.
She could determine that a divorce is in order. Jack knew he was marrying a firecracker, but Phyllis’ anger has made her too hot to handle. That fiery temper isn’t about to subside anytime soon.
Luckily, Phyllis won’t have to look too far for love. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Billy (Jason Thompson) will support Phyllis through the tough moments ahead. This friendship could easily turn into much more.
We can’t forget about the trouble that’s undoubtedly brewing between Billy and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Phyllis and Billy’s scheme will eventually be exposed. When that happens, Billy’s last chance could go right out the window. Victoria may be done with Billy and all of his shady gambles.
Once Billy and Phyllis are both free, they could help each other deal with their sorrow. They’ve already started to bond over their shared hatred for Victor (Eric Braeden). They might as well bond over their failed romances, too.
It definitely seems like a Phyllis and Billy pairing is in the works. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Phyllis will take the first step by leaving Jack.
