Angelina Jolie sure didn’t waste any time moving on, did she? The latest report from the National Enquirer claims that Angelina Jolie has already ‘replaced’ Brad Pitt less than a year after she filed for divorce.
The Enquirer’s sources claim, “Angelina was caught cozying up to [a] mystery hunk — as Brad’s kids ride along! She was caught sharing an intimate moment with the new man in her life [while in Cambodia last month]. They sneaked out of her luxury hotel to shop. In a further blow to Brad, Angie has even introduced the handsome stranger to her six children.”
The source then adds, “Brad will hit the roof when he finds out about this! He’s barely allowed to speak to his own children, then Angelina takes them halfway around the world, and now she’s letting some guy buy them trinkets?”
Um, yeah. The ‘new man’ in her life is actually just a security guard that’s part of Angelina’s security detail, and that’s the only reason he was with her and her children during the outing in Cambodia. That’s not to say that Angelina does NOT have a romantic relationship with him, just that it’s incredibly presumptuous of the Enquirer to claim that. But of course, ‘incredibly presumptuous’ could be the Enquirer’s tagline, couldn’t it?
At some point, both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are going to have to ‘officially’ move on. It might not be in the way we imagine (cough, Brad Pitt getting back together with Jennifer Aniston, cough), but it will happen. Take Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, for example. Did any of us think that those two would ever move on after the drama that permeated the end of their relationship? But they did, and Rob even moved into a stable, loving, long-term relationship while Kristen… well, is doing whatever Kristen is doing with her string of lovers.
With that being said, it’s highly doubtful that either Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt will be ‘moving on’ anytime soon. The two were together for more than ten years, and recovering from such an intense relationship that lasted such a long time – and produced six children and an entire family – is not an easy feat. But as they say, life must go on.
