Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, August 24, tease that Marlena (Deidre Hall) will worry about John (Drake Hogestyn). Hattie (Deidre Hall) trapped him in the sanitarium, but it looks like he’ll disappear briefly. Marlena has been heavily sedated, so she’ll continue to be pretty out of it. Once she finally awakens and remembers what happened, she’ll wonder where they took her love.
John will be placed in the padded room next to Marlena’s. This obviously isn’t the outcome John was hoping for when he followed Hattie, but he’ll try to stay calm. Days of Our Lives spoilers say John will speak to Marlena through the vents. He’ll be in a straitjacket, but he’ll assure Marlena that they’re going to get out of this mess.
While John and Marlena mull over their predicament, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will consider her own. She now recalls murdering Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), but Brady (Eric Martsolf) warned that she couldn’t turn herself in. The thought of losing Holly forever will certainly leave Nicole terrified.
Still, staying silent will feel wrong to her. Nicole will have a hard time leaving the Salem PD in the dark. She’ll think maybe she should fill Eric (Greg Vaughan) in on this crisis. Days spoilers hint that Eric may suspect something’s up, but will Nicole come clean?
Whether it’s in Thursday’s episode or not, Eric will undoubtedly hear the truth at some point. He understands how much Holly means to Nicole, so he’ll probably back Brady up. Across town. Brady will let Victor (John Aniston) in on a huge secret. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Brady will give his granddad updates on Nicole’s admission.
Victor may be surprised that Nicole actually plunged the knife, but he’ll admit it makes sense. DOOL viewers know that Victor isn’t Nicole’s biggest fan, but his hatred for Deimos was on another level. As far as Victor’s concerned, Nicole did the world a favor.
Besides, Victor was planning on having Xander (Paul Telfer) do the deed anyway. Nicole simply beat him to the punch. Days spoilers indicate that Victor will agree to keep quiet, so Nicole may get away with this. Regardless, a happy ending is coming up for Nicole down the road.
Elsewhere, Bonnie (Judi Evans) will find herself in bed with a drunk Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). Once Anjelica (Morgan Fairchild) arrives, a heated confrontation will ensue.
