Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of September 4 tease that things will get much worse for John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall). They’ll try to escape from the sanitarium, but their efforts will fail miserably. John will hope to keep Marlena’s spirits up, but he’ll be discouraged as well.
Unfortunately, Hattie’s (Deidre Hall) wicked plan will continue. She’ll probably get updates on John and Marlena’s attempt to make a break for it. Hattie will realize that she needs to think bigger. Straitjackets and padded rooms simply aren’t enough for this crafty duo.
Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Hattie will give the staff new instructions. She’ll suggest that it’s time for the next phase of treatment. Hattie will order electroshock therapy, so John and Marlena will naturally panic. It won’t be a great week for Andre (Thaao Penghlis) either. Hattie intends to send him to the sanitarium, too.
After a press conference ends in chaos, Hattie will announce that Andre is certifiably insane. He’ll be strapped in straitjacket and taken to Bayview. Days spoilers say Andre will insist that this is all a misunderstanding. He already seems suspicious of “Marlena,” so he may be convinced she’s Hattie by then.
Luckily, Andre’s ordeal will create more questions about “Marlena’s” judgment. Paul (Christopher Sean) will also make progress. He’ll contact the ISA and confirm that John isn’t on another mission. Hattie’s lies will leave Paul curious about her motives. He’ll know that something shady is going on, but he won’t be sure what it is.
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will decide to have a chat with “Marlena.” She’ll find Hattie preparing to go on the run. When Hattie’s belongings spill out of her suitcase, Hope might notice some unexpected items. Regardless, she’ll definitely point out that this isn’t Marlena’s usual behavior.
It won’t take long for everything to click. Hope knows Hattie quite well thanks to their prison stint together. She appreciated Hattie’s help, but times have changed. DOOL spoilers say Hope will go into detective mode as she confronts Hattie. She’ll want to hear exactly what Hattie did with John and Marlena.
Back at the sanitarium, Marlena will try to beg her way out of the electroshock therapy session. John will also dread this harsh remedy. Will someone save them at the last second?
