The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton) will get what they’re owed. They’ve paid their soap dues by enduring crisis after crisis. Now it’s time for some much-deserved peace. B&B will allow Liam and Steffy to have their blissful honeymoon period while other storylines take center stage.
This could be an opportunity to do something a bit unusual. The Bold and the Beautiful tends to use pregnancy storylines as plot points. The paternity is usually in question after a shocking hookup and a surprise baby.
Even when characters choose to have a child, there’s usually major drama involved. Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya’s (Karla Mosley) surrogacy requests certainly stirred up trouble. Maybe the show should shake things up and have a mostly drama-free conception.
Steffy miscarried Liam’s baby years ago and lost the ability to conceive. Fortunately, B&B later reversed that and now Steffy’s ready to put a bun in the oven. Liam and Steffy are newlyweds, but they’ve known each other for years. There’s no reason for them to wait on beginning their family.
Liam and Steffy could discuss the idea of having a baby. They might decide that the time is right to have a little one. It would be refreshing to watch a solid couple work on achieving this goal. Of course, problems could emerge down the road. Pairings can’t get by without a few obstacles.
Steffy could have a difficult pregnancy, give birth prematurely, have serious complications, etc. A good old-fashioned kidnapping might be fun following the birth as well. However, it would be nice for The Bold and the Beautiful to take advantage of Steffy and Liam’s current harmony. Why not have them be so deeply in love that they want to share it with their kid?
Besides, we need some characters to start popping out more babies. Those babies will eventually become SORASed children and those children will become SORASed teens. Adulthood isn’t far behind. It’s wise to think about the future in case we’re lucky enough to have our beloved soaps around that long. B&B will need several characters with ties to the core families.
