The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 31, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will worry about Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) fate. She just found her former friend unconscious at Dr. Harris’ house and the situation looks dire. Pills are scattered everywhere, so it seems Chloe may have overdosed.
Chelsea will get panicky as she shakes Chloe and urges her to wake up. It sounds like Chloe will need medical attention if she has any hope of survival. Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) will realize that his plan has fallen apart. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will walk in and suspect that something’s the matter. She’ll immediately start grilling Victor about what he’s learned.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will think Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea must’ve found Chloe. She’ll probably lash out at Victor for creating a mess and ultimately making it worse. Victor will do whatever he can to fix this, but it may be out of his hands now.
While the Chloe drama plays out, the Abbotts will deal with a crisis of their own. They’ll have to handle an uncomfortable family dinner. Y&R viewers will see plenty of awkwardness as Dina (Marla Adams), Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Traci (Beth Maitland) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) all sit down for a meal together.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley certainly won’t have high hopes for reconciliation. She doesn’t believe Dina genuinely wants to repair the damage she caused. Nevertheless, Dina will do her best to keep the mood light. She’ll mention that Jack and Ashley always had a sibling rivalry in play when they were kids. Dina will note that there are some things a mother just doesn’t forget.
There’ll be some slight smiles around the table, but there’s a good chance this chat will take a wrong turn eventually. You can’t put this many stubborn Abbotts in one room and expect a conversation to remain civil. Perhaps another confrontation could actually be beneficial for this strained family. Ashley and the others undoubtedly have a few more complaints to get off their chests.
