The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will shock Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Genoa City with a major bombshell. He will disclose that Adam Newman (formerly Justin Hartley) is alive. It will affect many lives in Genoa City and shake up Nick’s relationship with Adam’s widow, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).
Right now, Chelsea and Nick believe Adam is dead, and they are free to move on together. Chelsea hasn’t even considered that Adam could be alive and on his way back to her. The one thing standing in Nick and Chelsea’s happiness is Victor and the Christian paternity secret.
In a few weeks, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikkart) will be returning for a top-secret storyline. There seems to be only one reason he would return – to help clear Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) name. He may want to come back to Genoa City, but can’t because of Chloe.
Sure, Genoa City believes that Chloe is dead, but that’s just a little detail. The reason she cannot come back is because police want to arrest her for her role in Adam’s death. To clear her charges, Kevin must have evidence that Adam never died. Many Young and the Restless fans believe that is why Kevin will return in mid-September.
Let’s assume Kevin returns with proof that Adam is alive, somewhere. Perhaps, Chloe doesn’t even know where he is. Maybe, all she knows is that he got away. Y&R spoiler state that would be enough for Victor Newman to search high and low for his son.
It seems too soon for Adam to come back yet. If they are planning a November Sweeps return, they will have to keep fans hanging until late October, at the earliest. First, Victor will learn that Adam is alive somewhere. That juicy tidbit would be enough for Chelsea to pump the brakes with Nick.
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Nick would be devastated to learn the life he has built with Chelsea would come crashing down. While Victor may not plan on this destroying Nick, it would. He would have no home, no support system, and be forced to play nice with his dad.
