The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 21, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will have some big news for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She’ll announce that Victor (Eric Braeden) kicked Nick (Joshua Morrow) out of the tack house and handed her the key. Abby will admit that she moved in, but she’ll indicate that she was torn about it.
Nikki will likely suggest that it was fine for Abby to accept the offer. However, she’ll also be concerned about the state of the family. Nikki knows how ruthless Victor can be. She may fear that his latest move is only the beginning of Nick’s pain. Nikki won’t want Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) to get caught in the middle of this war, but that’s exactly what’s going to happen next week.
In the meantime, Devon (Bryton James) is in for a shock. In Friday’s Y&R episode, Neil (Kristoff St. John) decides to help Victoria (Amelia Heinle) by giving her the bridge loan. In return, he asks for the Dare campaign to resume so Lily (Christel Khalil) can remain employed.
Unfortunately, Neil’s decision won’t go over well with Devon on Monday. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will be stunned by Neil’s updates. He’ll feel like he deserved to be in the loop on this. That’s especially true since Victoria’s life is a train wreck. Neil didn’t realize she’d be in stuck in public scandal before sundown.
As the story explodes, Devon may fear that Brash and Sassy will take another hit. If they can’t pay back the loan, it could create serious financial problems for Devon and Neil’s company. While they debate the situation, Victoria will try to handle the crisis she’s facing. She’ll confront Hilary (Mishael Morgan) about airing her dreadful meltdown.
Victoria will realize it’s impossible to undo all the damage, but she’ll at least want to minimize it. She’ll insist that Hilary is going to take the footage off the website immediately. Hilary might dismiss the idea or she could cave to get Victoria off her back. Either way, Hilary will feel satisfied by the scoop she was able to deliver.
