The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 8, tease that Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) will have a bit of a tiff. At Crimson Lights, Abby will suggest that Scott should write a magazine article about her rise to power. He won’t think that’s a good idea since her reputation online is somewhat scandalous.
A horrified Abby will hop on the Internet and confirm that there are some outrageous stories involving her past. When Scott makes rude comments, Abby will snap that she’s glad he’s not writing Victor’s (Eric Braeden) book. The last thing she needs is anyone else making her look like a bimbo.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say later, Victor will find out about Abby’s questionable real estate transaction. She’ll promise it wasn’t a big deal, but Victor will seem irked. He’ll call Scott and ask him to take on a new role at Newman Enterprises. Scott will be serving as an executive, but his main job will be watching over an inexperienced Abby.
At the penthouse, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will be thrilled after her passionate night with Devon (Bryton James). Since she’ll be running late, Devon will urge Mariah to take one of Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) outfits. She left a few behind and the tags are still on them.
When Mariah shows up to work in a familiar dress, Hilary will be disgusted. To make matters worse, Mariah will ramble about Devon showing her the world and blowing her mind. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that once they go on the air, Hilary and Mariah will both go postal. After Hilary insists she’s taking back what’s hers, they’ll get into an all-out brawl.
At the ranch, Victor will once again reach out to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She still won’t be in a forgiving mood. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that they’ll argue about respect. It appears Nikki and Victor won’t be reconciling anytime soon.
However, Nikki will have something else on her mind in Monday’s new Y&R episode. She’ll spot Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) in her vehicle outside Crimson Lights. It will quickly become apparent that Tessa is homeless and has been living in her car. Nikki will undoubtedly want to help Tessa out with her financial problems.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Neil (Kristoff St. John) will tell Ashley (Eileen Davidson) about his meeting with Dina (Marla Adams). He’ll contend that Devon made a good pitch, but Dina still isn’t sure she wants to sell them Mergeron Enterprises. Ashley will fill Jack (Peter Bergman) in on the news later. She’ll suggest that Dina will lose interest and fade away as usual.
Back at the penthouse, Neil will join Devon and they’ll get a call from Dina. She’ll reveal that she’s decided to sell them her company. They’ll think this calls for a celebration, but trouble could be brewing. We’ll give you updates as other details emerge.
