The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Juliet (Laur Allen) will get a big surprise. Advance Y&R spoilers leak that the week of August 21-25 will bring some stunning news for this troubled character. It sounds like some interesting developments are coming up. What will Juliet learn and how will it affect her storyline?
There are a few options that immediately come to mind. Since Cane (Daniel Goddard) is giving Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes) info this week, that could mean Juliet will get dragged back into the mess. Cane might surprise Juliet by asking for her help.
After all, Victoria (Amelie Heinle) fired them both. That was ultimately Cane’s fault, but he doesn’t see it that way. Juliet seems to like the idea of becoming an item with Cane. She at least wants Cane in their son or daughter’s life. Making peace would be a good thing for these two. Perhaps that will be enough to get Juliet on board.
Then again, Cane might anger Juliet between now and then. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will fight back after Cane’s dirty move. She’ll undoubtedly be willing to play just as dirty. Will Victoria recruit Juliet for her mission to destroy Cane?
Juliet might be in a position to gain the upper hand, but this would be tricky. If Victoria stuns Juliet with a proposition, it could lead to serious problems. It wouldn’t be a great plan due to the sexual harassment lawsuit they settled, but Victoria isn’t thinking clearly right now.
It’s also possible that Juliet will learn she lost her baby. However, that seems more like something devastating instead of surprising. Unless Y&R spoilers are downplaying it, a miscarriage might be too grave. Juliet could still lose the baby down the road, but something else may be happening soon.
There’s one option that would arguably be the most intriguing. Will Juliet learn a mistake was made with the paternity test? Someone could easily call and insist that there was a mix-up in the lab. The real results could suggest that Cane isn’t a match for this baby’s DNA.
Naturally, Juliet would keep that info from Cane. The Young and the Restless wouldn’t let a juicy secret like this go to waste! What do you think the CBS soap has in store for Juliet?
