Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, June 20, tease that a very special episode’s coming up. DOOL will use this opportunity to honor Caroline Brady and her portrayer, Peggy McCay. McCay died last October, but Days’ advance filming schedule made it so they couldn’t do a memorial until now. They needed time to create a fitting tribute to this beloved actress and character, but it’ll be worth the wait.
Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) came to visit their dying son, but Days wanted them in town for this farewell, too. Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will thankfully make a full recovery, but the news of Caroline’s passing was a crushing blow to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). He just told Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) that “Ma is gone,” so they’ll quickly spread the word.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla will track Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) down and fill him in. He’ll get emotional over the loss – at least as much as Victor can get emotional. Vic isn’t exactly the kind of guy who pours his heart out, but he’ll manage to confide in Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) on Thursday. He’ll show his softer side and share a sweet moment of connection with Hope.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami will give Will updates on Caroline’s death. He was headed to the afterlife when Caroline let him know it wasn’t his time to go. Everything will suddenly make sense for Will, Sami and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). They’ll determine that after Caroline slipped away, she appeared to Will and did one last good deed for their family.
Later, a memorial gathering will kick off at the pub. Caroline was always comfortable there, so it’ll feel like the perfect location to say goodbye. It won’t be long until Carrie Brady (Christie Clark) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) return to Salem. They wouldn’t want to miss their chance to share some memories and mourn with the rest of the fam.
