Beyonce Knowles wants to be a superhero – as the first black Wonder Woman.   Beyone has met executives at DC Comics and Warner Brothers, who own the rights to the iconic figure. ‘A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing,’ Beyonce said. ‘It’s time for that, right? It would be great.’

Apparently her interest was sparked when she saw the costume worn by Lynda Carter in the hit Seventies TV show on display at a museum.   She said: ‘I was thinking to myself, “OK, I need to be a superhero.” Wonder Woman would be a very bold choice. There’s an action element that I would enjoy.’

In Syle UK’s has just put on the first ever In Style Handbag Auction in association with Revlon. The event took place on 4th November and it was a huge success with a great turn out.

Spice Girl Emma Bunton joined In Style at their first ever handbag auction in aid of children’s charity, the Rainbow Trust yesterday. The champagne tea, hosted by In Style’s editor Trish Halpin in association with Revlon welcomed a selection of London ladies to bid on bags donated by luxury fashion houses including Chanel, Burberry, Gucci and YSL. As if that wasn’t enough, celebrities including Keira Knightley, Natalia Vodianova and the face of Revlon, Jessica Alba, donated their own designer bags to be auctioned off in aid of the charity. It became apparent very quickly Emma Bunton is a true handbag aficionado. The Spice Girl and long standing patron of Rainbow Trust, zoomed in on Prada’s black ruffle bag but was swiftly outbid. However she consoled herself by choosing a Missoni bag at its ‘buy it now’ price and then began bidding on Burberry’s suede hobo bag in the live auction. She walked away the winner, having paid $6000.

Lauren Laverne was on fine form playing auctioneer as she extricated large sums of cash in the nicest possible way from guests. Quashing fears anybody may have had about spending money in the current economic climate she said: "Credit crunch? Credit smunch. Consider your purchases today as guilt-free shopping, as every penny is going to a worthy cause." We love Lauren’s lipstick patterned blouse by Guess; a canny reference to event sponsors, Revlon.

Supermodel Natalia Vodianova generously donated this exquisite Valentino bag (attached) which went up for live auction. There were a couple of very determined bidders including the owner of Browns and Browns Focus, Joan Burstein. The evening bag was finally won by Joan for the princely sum of $6,000

Tana Ramsay helped Gordon spend some of his millions by purchasing a Christian Louboutin clutch for £290 and another bag red Jaeger bag - not sure if she fessed up or had to hide the bags!

On her reputation “I have a reputation for being aloof, but the truth is I’m initially intimidated by people. Get me started though and I won’t come up for air” 

On her recent engagement to Swiss Financer Arpad Busson “I know a lot will be written about it – most of it untrue I should add. What can I say? I’m excited, optimistic and joyful”

On her divorce from Ethan Hawk “It has been four years and I don’t want to focus my life on that. If people want to know what I think of my ex-husband having another child, why not just say that I wish the father or my children all the happiness in the world?” 

On the male fan who was stalking her “I don’t want to give any more energy to that. But if anyone is forced to call 911 and as a result something becomes a police matter, you can’t abandon the process: you need to cooperate and allow the police to do what they need to do. I wasn’t being courageous. It was a situation I needed to see through in order to protect my family”

On having children “I understand that raising children is universally difficult and that people read an article hoping for something worthwhile in it. The truth is I am not on some inside track. I have no incredible revelations to share”

When asked if she plans to have more children “I can safely say I don’t know, if it’s meant to happen it will. I love and adore being a mother. It’s the greatest gift I’ve ever been given”

On fashion “I’ve always admired how European women have such effortless style, as though they’ve been culturally raised to wear clothes gracefully and effortlessly. There’s something wrong about trying too hard to be fashionable. When people are too ‘outfitted’, it comes across as self-conscious.”

On being a celebrity “Being a celebrity is one of the fringe aspects of my job and one I’ve been tutored in, so to speak. I’ve learnt how to use it in a positive way and benefited from the brush with fame I had in my teens. It’s important to stay clear headed and not to let fame become toxic”

On the paparazzi “I’m sometimes confused by what they choose to photograph. On the set of Motherhood, I was in a hippie floral dress and Birkenstocks. I can’t imagine who would be interested in seeing me like that”

On Aging “For an actress, every developmental stage is a culling of the herd. New people are found and pushed to the forefront. It freaks me out a little less these days. It makes it easier having gone through working as a teenager and being told that there would be no career for me as a 20 year old. And then working as a 20 year old and being told that was it. And then having children and being told there wouldn’t be a career for me now. The characters I get to play as a mature woman are much more interesting than the ingénues I got to play as a kid, so I feel okay about it”

On her looks “It’s the same with all actresses. Whether it’s there beautiful long wavy hair or their extraordinary lips or their sparkling green eyes or warm laugh, they’re pegged to some physical attribute. If I looked distinctly different, I would have a different kind of career and different kinds of challenges. But there are plenty of challenges that come from being a tall girl. Nobody would have thought I would have a 20-year career in front of me when I started!”

Amy Winehouse’s classless junkie  Blake Fielder-Civi who got out of prison yesteday and  told waiting reporters "I’m gonna see my wife and take her knickers down.”   Unfortunately for Blake rather than see Amy he was wisked off to rehab instead and Amy has to wait seven days before she can see the "stud".  Blake also told reporters “I’m gonna get myself sorted. I’m gonna get my life back.”    Rather than meet Blake when he got out, while Blake was on his way to rehab wifey Amy was having another rampage whacking a photographer, flashing her breasts and passing out in a cab. 

Lisa Rinna has decided to tell us what we all knew - she is admitting to having tried to help mother nature along.  Lisa says she had too much of the filler Juvéderm injected into her face. “We all know everyone does it!” Lisa, told In Touch. “We go on Jenny Craig and do all these things to change ourselves, so why can’t we get a little filler?”

Lisa actually admits she recently overdid it. “I saw a picture of myself and thought, ‘Uh-oh,’” admits Lisa, after getting too much Juvéderm. “You have to be careful. I’m a perfect example of that!” “There are many things you can do to make yourself look better,” says Lisa, whose fitness DVDs Lisa Rinna: Dance Body Beautiful are out in December.

One thing Lisa forgot to mention is the collagen she injects in her lips.  Lately she has been looking like Daffy Duck.  And wait she forgot her fake boobs……..Celebs need to learn when too much is too much!

The recent clash that Pink had at with a Kiwi TV reporter was recorded and footage has been released.  Apparently Pink walked out of the interview after TVNZ’s Hanna Hodson asked the singer why she had sacked her sister, who was once an assistant to the star.

The story goes that the interviewer was very rude even taking telephone calls on her cell during the interview.   When Pink left her security team and management tried to physically force the camera crew to hand over the tape.   In the new footage Hanna Hodson is heard shouting. “Let go of our camera this is our property, how dare you,” she says.

The reporter could lose her job over this.  The New Zealand Sunday News says the interview was a “nightmare”, characterising it as a “train wreck” that would never see the light of day.  

“It started out okay … Pink was really trying … but she was looking over at her manager the whole time as if to say, ‘What the hell?’”   This is not the first time that the interviewer Hodson has been in trouble.  Last year she pissed off Nicole Kidman and in 2004 she was asked to resign from a New Zealand network.   Check out the footage here….
