Paris Hilton was once left blushing when a date realized she’d been pretending to talk on her mobile phone to avoid chatting to him. She decided the date wasn’t going well almost immediately, so she pretended to answer a phone call from her mom in a bid to leave, but she was caught out when her mobile phone actually started to ring.
She reveals, “I was out with this guy and after five minutes I knew he was totally not my type. So I pretended my mom was on the phone and I needed to go home urgently. But while I was pretending to be on the phone to her, it started ringing. So he knew I wasn’t really speaking to her!” source
