Becks parties till dawn with Tom Cruise.. and a ?30,000 drinks bill
NO one can bender it like Beckham… The footie ace threw one el of a do to celebrate his triumphant farewell to Spain. Becks and his pals, including Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes – whose loose dress revealed a hint of a bump, sparking rumours she could be expecting baby No.2 – partied until 7.30am. The guests downed an astonishing ?30,000 of red wine. But it didn’t cost him a penny – the plonk was all free, donated by a grateful Spanish fan who owns a vineyard. Jubilant David, 32, and wife Victoria, 33, pushed the boat out after Real Madrid clinched La Liga in his final game for the Spanish side. The golden couple had smiles as wide as a cinema screen as they prepared for their move to Hollywood, where Becks will soon be playing for LA Galaxy.
The knees-up began at a swanky restaurant in Madrid, where guests sang victory songs and drank toasts to the former England skipper.
Becks tucked into black pudding and steak, while weight-conscious Victoria opted for just pineapple and strawberries. Then, around 5am, they invited actor Tom, 44, and his missus Katie, 28, to a trendy nightclub where they danced until dawn. A source at the restaurant said: “A huge cheer went up when David arrived. The atmosphere was electric. “They were all singing ‘campeones, campeones’ and other victory songs all night and between them they got through 20 magnums of red wine. Everyone had a fantastic time.”
