Contrary, to earlier reports Britney Spears didn’t loose custody due to driving without a valid California license. Driving without a license was only one of the many factors that led to her losing custody.
Britney lost custody because she ignored every provision the Commissioner made in the custody battle. County Commissioner Scott Gordon ordered Spears to do a number of things in order to maintain 50/50 custody.
She failed to:
– to meet with a drug counselor
– to submit to drug testing
– to enroll in parenting classes
– to sign the judge’s order
– Drive both son’s with a valid California driver’s license.
After temporarily losing custody of her children, Britney Spears sought to address at least one other problem in her life: she applied for a California driver’s license.
After her handing her children over she drove with a friend to a Department of Motor Vehicles office in Van Nuys, Calif. There, Spears filled out paperwork and took a written test. DMV regulations do not require a behind-the-wheel test.
Britney Spears also went to Epitome, her favorite Bel Air tanning salon.
