Emma Bunton is pregnant. The former Spice Girl as announced she is expecting her first child with her long-term boyfriend ex-Damage singer Jade Jones, who she has been dating for eight years. She is three months pregnant and says she and Jade are absolutely delighted they are becoming parents. “We are so happy, it’s unbelievable news! What a great start to the New Year! We’re really looking forward to having a family together and to the rest of our lives. “I guess I will be handing over the ‘Baby’ tag now to a deserving new little owner!”
Emma had her first antenatal scan this week and the baby is due this summer. The pop star previously admitted she was terrified she wouldn’t be able to conceive because of medical problems. In 2000, Emma had to have pre-cancerous cells removed from her cervix. Shortly after, she discovered she had endometriosis, a condition which causes the lining of the womb to come away making it difficult for the sufferer to fall pregnant.
