The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed Friday that officers are investigating whether Britney Spears may have run over a deputy’s foot with her car as she was leaving the federal courthouse.
“We are aware that Britney Spears was leaving the courthouse,” said officer Jason Lee. “We are also aware that a deputy was injured, but we’re unable to confirm the details on the deputy’s injury because the investigation is in its initial stage.”
The celebrity website TMZ.com reported authorities are investigating whether Spears ran over the deputy’s foot with her car on October 3 following a hearing on her efforts to obtain joint custody of her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
