TWO tickets to see Prince play at the Ross School in the Hamptons on Saturday night went for as high as $23,000 the night before at the Children’s Museum of the East End benefit auction – but the diva rocker didn’t seem to connect with the buttoned-up audience. Though the artist at one point asked “What city are we in?” he was well aware the crowd had paid big bucks to see him perform. Regular tickets were $3,000 apiece. When Prince brought a group of booty-shaking teens (along with a few of their fathers) onstage, he announced, “We’re gonna get some rich folks in the front to come on up.” The well-heeled Hamptonites had dinner prepared by Geoffrey Zakarian and mingled with such celebs as Anjelica Huston, Kid Rock, Jay-Z and Michelle Rodriguez. A bored Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted playing the Brick Breaker game on his cellphone, while his girlfriend, Bar Refaeli, bopped along to the music.
