The singer, dubbed Posh, hasn’t sung in the group since their split nearly ten years ago (98) – but reveals she has been recording her vocals at London’s Olympic Studios, the same venue where the girl band recorded the tracks for Spice World: The Movie.
“The mic was put in front of me and I was like ‘woah’. It was surreal being back in there.
“I always said I wasn’t ever going to sing again and I really didn’t expect to. But once I got going it was fun. “The news songs are a progression of the old Spice stuff – nothing radical and still poppy but a bit different. We are all impressed with them.”
Beckham’s comments come as a surprise, as it’s only been recently hinted that there might be a get-together with former bandmates Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.
