It’s a dangerous time for stars in Hollywood. High-Definition TV offers a picture up to six times more clear than regular TV. "We can now see the stars as they look in real-life, which sometimes, isn’t so pretty," says Dr. Tahl Humes of Vitahl Medical who is based in Denver but frequently consults in Los Angeles to the rich and famous.
"The worst enemies are acne, pockmarks, rosacea, blackheads and whiteheads," says Dr. Humes. "But HDTV just can’t hide this anymore," she adds.
The three worst victims of HDTV are Brad Pitt, who has deep pockmarks in his cheeks; Jennifer Aniston who also has deep pockmarks and Cameron Diaz, who has a terrible acne problem. For active acne, Dr. Humes suggests using BLU-U or Levulan and using the cutting edge technology of Pearl Fractional and Pearl for the pockmarks.
