Phil Spector is being sued by The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles for allegedly failing to pay more than $100,000 worth of bills.
The hotel filed suit yesterday, claiming that Spector, his wife and agent owe accommodation fees for lawyers and expert witnesses who stayed at the hotel during his murder trial last year. The hotel’s lawsuit alleges fraud, breach of written contract and other charges. Spector’s trial ended in a hung jury last year when jurors failed to reach a verdict after hearing approximately five months of testimony.
