Army to Impose Limits on Freedom of Speech at Palin Book Signing

Since when was the army concerned with books and authors?   The same sharp bunch who managed to overlook Major Nidal Hassan running around protesting US involvement in Iran and Afghanistan and trying to contact Al Quida amongst other activities that clearly rendered him unfit for anything but Islamic Terrorism (something he turned out to be good at) has decided to censor Sarah Palin and her supporters from speaking with reporters when she attends a book signing at Fort Bragg.   They claim to be worried about possible damage to the reputation of the Commander In Chief, President Barack Obama.   If this wasn’t so insulting to all of us who love and value our high national standards of freedom of the press, free speech, freedom of association, et al, it would be comical.   Is the army worried about a mutiny – LOL!
