Marilyn Monroe carried my baby, says Tony Curtis

Legendary actor Tony Curtis claimed in a new memoir published in September that his affair with screen icon Marilyn Monroe, which resulted in the actress getting pregnant.

The duo had an extra-marital affair while shooting together while filming for Billy Wilder’s  ‘Some Like It Hot’ in 1958, which got Marilyn Monroe pregnant, reported Daily Express. Curtis makes the shocking claim in his new memoir that film goddess Monroe was expecting his baby but later miscarried.

The memoir "The Making Of Some Like It Hot’ which is set for publication in the US in September. "When I was in bed with Marilyn, I was never sure, before, during or after, where her mind was. She was an actress. She could play a part. She could give the part what she thought a man wanted," Curtis writes in his book.

The 84-year old actor recalls the day Monroe announced her pregnancy in October 1958 during a hated exchange with her playwright husband playwright Arthur Miller, who refused to believe the baby was Curtis’ child. The actor claims that the couple had an affair in 1950, which they rekindled in 1958, when his wife Janet Leigh was pregnant with their second daughter, Jamie.

Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller’s marriage, begun in 1956, was dissolved in 1961, a year before the actor’s death. "I never asked for more.
