Nicolas Cage’s business manager is saying lavish spending is why Nicolas has financial problems. Nicolas filed a $20 million dollar suit against his business manager Samuel J. Levin for fraud.
Now Levin has filed a counter-suit against Nicolas. Levin is seeking a declaration that he acted properly and didn’t excessively charge Nicolas for his services.
Nicolas is in serious financial trouble and the internal revenue service has put a $6.6 million dollar tax lien against the actor. Levin claims he told Nicolas that he would need to earn $30 million dollars a year to maintain his lavish lifestyle which included purchasing $33 million in property, 22 automobiles, 50 pieces of jewelery, art and other exotic items in one year. Nicolas claims he only found out about his financial woes when he hired a new business manager in 2008. Photo: Fame Pictures
