Ttroubled ‘Rehab’ singer Amy Winehouse’s mother Janis is delighted that she has ended her romance with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil to embark on a relationship with film director Reg Traviss and can’t wait to meet him. Janis said: “I’m really looking forward to meeting him. Their relationship is a gift from the gods. “You just want to see your child happy and healthy and if Reg can help Amy stay in a place like than then it’s a good thing.”
Despite dating Reg for just a few weeks, Janis says Amy is already smitten with her new beau. She said: “Amy, bless her, is a little girl in love. I think it’s what’s called early days, but it’s great for me to see Reg making her so happy. She seems to like everything about him.” Despite ending her relationship with Blake, Janis insists the singer – who is believed to have been drug-free for 18 months – is still on good terms with him, but knows their romance wasn’t healthy. She added to Grazia magazine: “Amy knows that she and Blake are no good together but she says they will always be friends. They have been through so much together.”
