Brooke Shields Wants More Children

The 44-year-old actress – who has two daughters, Rowan, six, and three-year-old Grier, with husband Chris Henchy – is hoping to expand her family further in the near future but is worried time is running out.

She said: “I’d love more kids. I don’t know how much longer my clock is going to tick, so it’s going to depend on my egg age.”   Despite the difficulties of juggling family life with her career, Brooke says it is made easier because she has such a supportive family.  She added to Life and Style magazine “I don’t think you ever feel you’re balancing anything. My kids are great, and I have a good husband. You’ve just got to keep everything in the air.”

Last year, the model and actress spoke openly about the severe post-natal depression – following a miscarriage and seven in vitro fertilisation (IVF) attempts – that almost lead her to suicide after the birth of her first child.   She revealed: “I finally had a healthy beautiful girl and I couldn’t look at her. I couldn’t hold her and I couldn’t sing to her and I couldn’t smile at her…All I wanted to do was disappear and die.”  Photo: Fame Pictures
