Giant NBA Star Manute Bol Dies

In terrible news we are sad to announce that Manute Bol has died.  The University of Virginia Medical Center said that Bol died today at the age of 47.   A spokeswoman for the University would not disclose the cause of death. He was suffering from major kidney trouble and a painful skin condition.

Bol finished his career as the second greatest shot blocker of all time with an average of 3.3 shots blocked per game and a game record high of 18! He was seven feet and seven inches in height and came from Sudan where after retirement in 1995 he worked at promoting charitable efforts.
